Beyond The Fold

With the alphabet pattern under my belt I've been having a play around with the Mum in Heart pattern and created a couple of effects that I thought I'd share with you.

Firstly, I added some quilling to infill the heart around 'Mum'. It's my first attempt at quilling so I'm sure many of you would do a much better job than me :)

The second effect I created by inserting strips of card in each of the folds. I love the block of colour the card creates. Here I used pink but you could use your Mum's favourite colour for Mother's Day.
